In Weight of Air – wind is being contemplated. The one that gives us life and shows that every beginning is an end and every end is a beginning. The wind, who reveals that opposites exist within each other. An element which can levitate, rotate, entangle, kill and give birth. An element which represents continuous change.

Curated by Alexandra Pavlovskaya Lokchine and Bo Oskamp the exhibition unfolds as a scenography of a play: four rooms like four acts, each carrying the visitor through suspension, darkness, intimacy, onto trembling ground.

From the 11th of October, Pulchri Studio’s historic spaces transform into a living organism. Works by Gilad Ashery, Bo Oskamp, Mauricio van der Maesen de Sombreff, Lou Delius, Alexandra Pavlovskaya Lokchine, and yietnu carry us through different stages in time — unclear what has taken place and when. Unclear what is yet to come. From suspended feathers to breathing machines, from intimate drawings to monumental myths.

Part of Museumnacht Den Haag the exhibition opens with a dynamic performance program and finishes with a short film screening program co-curated by Ganael Dumreicher.
